Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Feodor Thelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horst-Peter Hörtnagel in the 19th minute of play. Leon Mackert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feodor Thelen having to interfere. When Enrico Vogt came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Zelg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Vogt couldn't finish the play. Feodor Thelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolf Attenberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
