Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Kickers United's Andrez Marichal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kickers United's Anthonio Van Bets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferris Bieber in the 2nd minute of play. When Falko Reimann fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espen Steelers's protests and gave Falko Reimann a yellow card for diving instead. Falko Reimann kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Simon Cheepers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the game, Maxime Uytterhaegen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kickers United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espen Steelers the free kick. In the 5th minute, Maxime Uytterhaegen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Ferris Bieber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthonio Van Bets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Espen Steelers were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Kickers United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simon Sonevoga took the corner. If Maxime Uytterhaegen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Simon Sonevoga. In the 30th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Rohner to maneuver through the defense. When Falko Reimann was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. Falko Reimann kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Freeman Mächler came free, but Anthonio Van Bets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavian Fäh made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Simon Cheepers sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freeman Mächler to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Harrison Muntwyler got a free kick in the 50th minute. After 52 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Rohner. With a little luck, Kickers United's Anthonio Van Bets got control of the ball when Ferris Bieber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kickers United's Anthonio Van Bets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Kickers United from getting a goal against them. Freeman Mächler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthonio Van Bets having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferris Bieber in the 58th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Anthonio Van Bets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Evert Tilens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavian Fäh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frans Moerman kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Moerman to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Espen Steelers's Simon Sonevoga tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goalkeeper Anthonio Van Bets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harrison Muntwyler. After a rather tough play, Kickers United's Evert Tilens got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 82 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Tilens came free, but Flavian Fäh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Kickers United's Anthonio Van Bets got control of the ball when Harrison Muntwyler tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Harrison Muntwyler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harrison Muntwyler struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Anthonio Van Bets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espen Steelers. After a rather tough play, Kickers United's Stijn Dheedene got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Philipp Junod had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
