Tibo Van den Bergen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Radek Pivovar made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Dolejší in the 25th minute of play forced YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Stanny Van Wontergem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 30 in the game by Tibo Van den Bergen from a close distance when the talented Radek Pivovar managed to make a qualified save. FK Řitka's players were relieved. Milan Brodský kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Alan Wirinckx was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. In the 80th minute, Zdislav Nádeníček ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanny Van Wontergem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Radek Pivovar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibo Van den Bergen's shot from short distance in the 85th minute.
