Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brent-Jan Dobbeleir took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Jerry Degraef ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henny Jans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Henny Jans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Degraef in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sjors Schulte came free, but Natan Labrouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brent-Jan Dobbeleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Henny Jans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sjors Schulte got free with Natan Labrouche in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goalkeeper Natan Labrouche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sjors Schulte. Henny Jans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Hollanders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Degraef came free, but Henny Jans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Pascall Mik notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Natan Labrouche. Natan Labrouche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wesley Hollanders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Tombeurs hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Jerry Degraef got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Verwachting's Henny Jans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent-Jan Dobbeleir in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ralph Peeters to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramon Matthijs's late challenge caught a Royal Antwerp F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sjors Schulte scored 3-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natan Labrouche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascall Mik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goalkeeper Henny Jans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wesley Hollanders. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
