Marko Kyulafliev's late challenge caught a FC CSKA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dimitar Berbatov sped through DARAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matey Trashliev. In the 34th match minute, FC CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hristo Konsulov to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC CSKA's Dimitar Berbatov got a free kick in the 36th minute. DARAS's Svetoslav Hrulev got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matey Trashliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Gavril Bratovanov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atanas Dlúgnekov skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute, Svetoslav Hrulev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Atanas Dlúgnekov. The goal made the score 1-1. 48 minutes into the match, Matey Shumanski notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC CSKA's Atanas Dlúgnekov. Atanas Dlúgnekov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Svetoslav Hrulev made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Lilcho Chohadzhiev.
