Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Murilo Paes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Baltazar Meireles hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes, Márcio de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekzema F.V. and the PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Márcio de Mendonça. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Fabiano Esteves got a free kick in the 6th minute. Luís Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio de Mendonça in the 8th minute of play. After 8 minutes of play, Ekzema F.V.'s Márcio de Mendonça made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Lopes in the 14th minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Wellington Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Vitinho Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wellington Baiano. Ekzema F.V.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitinho Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 21st minute, João Adolfo de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murilo Paes came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luís Maia could save by the left post. 24 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Esteves came free, but Wellington Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio de Mendonça in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ! In the 34th minute Márcio de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Cordeiro came free, but Luís Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Trancoso in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitinho Trancoso was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Ekzema F.V.'s Márcio de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Maia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Claudinei Sá got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wellington Baiano. In the 67th minute Sílvio Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Duda Lago threw the ball into play from the sideline. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Gonçalo Faria quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fabinho Sarmento hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Claudinei Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
