Chicão Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chicão Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlos Alberto de Amaral was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Paranhos Ariranha FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Evaristo Moreira hit a great ball. When Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlos Alberto de Amaral in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gato Preto FC's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Paranhos Ariranha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Prata came free, but Gilmar Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto de Amaral scored 3-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão Peixoto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Gato Preto FC's André Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlos Alberto de Amaral in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gato Preto FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto de Amaral in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Gato Preto FC's Paulo José de Barros got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Fausto Fernandez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chicão Peixoto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paranhos Ariranha FC reached it. In the 43rd minute, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlos Alberto de Amaral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0.

After having played for 51 minutes, Carlos Alberto de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranhos Ariranha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alberto de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chicão Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Amaral in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gato Preto FC's Robinho de Medeiros got a free kick in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the game, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlos Alberto de Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chicão Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto de Amaral in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Alberto de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Chicão Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Alberto de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd match minute, Gato Preto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Fernandez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chicão Peixoto. Gato Preto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chicão Peixoto came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlos Alberto de Amaral. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto de Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Chicão Peixoto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlos Alberto de Amaral shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 89th match minute, Gato Preto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paranhos Ariranha FC fully deserved thier win.
