Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Maicon Prata started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cássio de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Prata in the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardinho de Senna got free with Cássio de Senna in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cássio de Senna was a little too slow when Bernardinho de Senna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luís Paulo do Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Paulo do Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. Dani Portillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chicão Peixoto having to make a save. In the 23rd minute of the match Diguinho Vasconcelos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cássio de Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olavo Carioca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chicão Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Gato Preto FC got a freekick which was hit by Robinho de Medeiros. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Luís Paulo do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poetass FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Paulo do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Dani Portillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poetass FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Chicão Peixoto came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Poetass FC's Luís Paulo do Vale. But to his dismay, Luís Paulo do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Paulo do Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olavo Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Peixoto having to interfere. Chicão Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Carioca in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Luís Paulo do Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poetass FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After having played for 65 minutes, Olavo Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poetass FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavo Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Poetass FC's Luís Paulo do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinho Saldanha hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Chicão Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Carioca in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Maicon Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinho de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Gato Preto FC's Bernardinho de Senna. But to his dismay, Bernardinho de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Maicon Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Barreto. If Luís Paulo do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Gato Preto FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho de Senna. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Bernardinho de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gato Preto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardinho de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Poetass FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
