Ronaldinho de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of Leões do Sul 53 booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes, Claudinho Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leões do Sul 53 and the SeleSantos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Wilian Cearense in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egídio Reis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wilian Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Aílton Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SeleSantos FC's Abelardo de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tales Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Soeiro in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when Leões do Sul 53 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Bernardo Soeiro made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes SeleSantos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dedé Almeida who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Leões do Sul 53's Dedé Almeida to fire away a dangerous shot which Tales Siqueira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the SeleSantos FC defense, Bernardo Soeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tales Siqueira. The SeleSantos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tales Siqueira should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Leões do Sul 53 booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Bernardo Soeiro put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tales Siqueira. Tales Siqueira made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Bernardo Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. After 67th play minutes Bernardo Soeiro shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Tales Siqueira and just under the crossbar into goal. If Bernardo Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Travassos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in SeleSantos FC's zone, Bernardo Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Siqueira came out of the goal and Bernardo Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cléber Lima struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Egídio Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SeleSantos FC. In the 85th minute Cléber Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tales Siqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Soeiro in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Tales Siqueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SeleSantos FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
