The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Erasmo Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Mário Medeiros got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Reinaldo de Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramón Cosme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ramón Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Dias in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Souza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Dias in the 36th minute of play forced SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Ramón Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ramón Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umbrella Corporation. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Souza scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramón Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Abelardo Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Senna, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Reinaldo de Carvalho missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 73 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ramón Cosme right hand side. Nelson Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ramón Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Leonardo Neves in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Edgar Guerra. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Wanderson Rosa hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Augusto Senna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dino Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
