In the 7th minute, Geovanni Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleiton Pena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute of the match Caarapo SS got a corner. Macaco F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesinha Fernandez ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Wanderson Tande heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 16 minutes, Rafael Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caarapo SS and the Macaco F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caarapo SS's Rafael Maranhense got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Caio Goiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Caio Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Rafael Maranhense made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Lopes. Macaco F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cleiton Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes, Fábio Dracena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macaco F.C. and the Caarapo SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Macaco F.C.'s Felipe Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Macaco F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes, Geovanni Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macaco F.C. and the Caarapo SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Negri made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Cristian Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macaco F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleiton Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Moisés Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wanderson Tande took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Lopes. Felipe Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 71 minutes into the match, Geovanni Pinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cleiton Pena, 3-2. Cleiton Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Caarapo SS's Rafael Maranhense got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Caarapo SS's goalkeeper Cleiton Pena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomás Pimenta. Cleiton Pena didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. In the 85th minute Caio Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleiton Pena was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Thomás Pimenta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomás Pimenta really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. If Wanderson Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Tande in the 93rd minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Felipe Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dagoberto Silveira during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cleiton Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
