The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Marquinhos Veloso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Mendes. The goal made the score 1-0. Oscar Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Caxinha F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Barbosa came free, but Carlos Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquinhos Veloso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. A.A.100Qualidade's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Carlos Mendes was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Délio Vargas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Délio Vargas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Diamantino Dionísio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Benjamim Damião with Rubens Barbosa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 31 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Veloso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Mendes. Marquinhos Veloso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, A.A.100Qualidade's Marquinhos Veloso got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lucas Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Recife in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Délio Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A.100Qualidade's supporters rose to their feet, but Délio Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Recife to strike the kick off in the second half. Caxinha F. C.'s Norberto Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Caxinha F. C. defense, Marquinhos Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Mendes. The Caxinha F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Mendes should have stopped the shot. Jarbas Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Mendes having to interfere. In the 61st minute Délio Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Délio Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Horácio Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Nunes in the 69th minute of play. Yan da Silveira's late challenge caught a A.A.100Qualidade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yan da Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A.A.100Qualidade booed when Caxinha F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.A.100Qualidade's Marquinhos Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Alan Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Nóbrega might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horácio Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Nóbrega ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Caxinha F. C. getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alan Nunes hit a great ball. The supporters of Caxinha F. C. booed when A.A.100Qualidade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Caxinha F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Nunes came free, but Carlos Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
