Arnaldo da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Valadares in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Chelsicha's Sebastião Paraense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo da Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arnaldo da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Melo in the 21st minute of play. Real Camaçari Futbol Club's Arnaldo da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Melo in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Real Camaçari Futbol Club getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bernardinho Motta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Melo in the 26th minute of play forced Real Camaçari Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arnaldo da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Sebastião Paraense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Arnaldo da Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Frederico de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Real Camaçari Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico de Mendonça came free, but Arnaldo da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Real Camaçari Futbol Club booed when Chelsicha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Frederico de Mendonça received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo da Fonseca came out and tried to block the shot, but Frederico de Mendonça slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Matheus Arósio could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Arnaldo da Fonseca however easily saved by the left post. In the 65th minute Dino Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Vágner Valadares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelsicha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 72nd match minute, Chelsicha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Antônio Carlos Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Arnaldo da Fonseca made a huge save. Real Camaçari Futbol Club's Dino Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Valadares in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Real Camaçari Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arnaldo da Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederico de Mendonça. After 82 minutes of play, Chelsicha's Frederico de Mendonça made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo da Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vágner Valadares in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo da Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Matheus Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsicha's protests and gave Matheus Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. Matheus Arósio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Frederico de Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Arnaldo da Fonseca made a huge save.
