Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) AC Metropol's Charles Zonta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Galo do Cerrado's Alfredo Diniz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Matías Teixeira but with some difficulty. 8 minutes into the game, AC Metropol's Edmílson de Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson de Barros in the 11th minute of play forced Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Alfredinho Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, AC Metropol's Charles Zonta got a free kick in the 25th minute. 39 minutes into the match, AC Metropol's Igor Schmidt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Zonta in the 43rd minute of play forced Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Alfredinho Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Matías Teixeira made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cássio Matorin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Alfredinho Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Diniz during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfredo Diniz hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Igor Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Manuel Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Zonta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Andrade made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Cássio Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matías Teixeira. AC Metropol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Charles Zonta 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. In the 81st minute Edmílson de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Vítor Campidelis's late challenge caught a Galo do Cerrado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Vítor Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Galo do Cerrado booed when AC Metropol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Adriano Pitta in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galo do Cerrado's Haroldo Peixoto. Charles Zonta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredinho Andrade came out and tried to block the shot, but Charles Zonta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 92nd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Benjamin Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo do Cerrado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AC Metropol's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
