After 7 played minutes Magos da Bola FC got a freekick which was hit by Rick Brabo. LUIZ PANATO's Luiz Panatt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save LUIZ PANATO from getting a goal against them. Laerte Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laerte Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LUIZ PANATO booed when Magos da Bola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Tróia fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 18th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Magos da Bola FC's Délio Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Brasil in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Nogueira in the 21st minute of play forced Magos da Bola FC's goalkeeper Délio Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Augusto Barros notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of LUIZ PANATO's Luiz Panatt. Luiz Panatt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, LUIZ PANATO's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Barros came free, but Luiz Panatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Magos da Bola FC's Augusto Barros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Panatt. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. 39 minutes into the game, Luizinho Brasil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Délio Munhoz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Magos da Bola FC's Rick Brabo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Panatt. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. When Samuel Teles fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magos da Bola FC's protests and gave Samuel Teles a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Magos da Bola FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Teles. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Víktor Nogueira to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rick Brabo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Panatt saved LUIZ PANATO from getting behind. A collision led to LUIZ PANATO getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eriberto Carvalho hit a great ball. Luiz Panatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Brasil in the 60th minute of play forced Magos da Bola FC's goalkeeper Délio Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rick Brabo during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rick Brabo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Délio Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizinho Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Panatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Luizinho Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Magos da Bola FC were the better team. Magos da Bola FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
