In the 33rdth minute of the game Túlio Ladron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Túlio Ladron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murilo Paiva, 2-0. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. José Pedro Seco hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curiphila Eagles's zone, Pedro Luiz da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
