In the 5th minute Jorginho Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Brodel in the 7th minute of play forced Templários MZC's goalkeeper Ian Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualter Vinhas was a little too slow when Nuno Correia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ian Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Brodel in the 12th minute of the match. Erivaldo Eger hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Olívio Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Arce struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ian Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heidemann FC - FSCMZ. 19 minutes into the match, Elano Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Queirós. Templários MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elano Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gualter Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 29 minutes of play, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Danilo Arce made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 31 minutes, Nuno Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Templários MZC and the Heidemann FC - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Heidemann FC - FSCMZ booed when Templários MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualter Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Arce went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 43 minutes, Giovanni Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Templários MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni Custódio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Erivaldo Eger got a free kick in the 44th minute. The Templários MZC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ were winning 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Correia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
