Abelardo Pontes's late challenge caught a Icoara Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luiz da Cunha went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 35 minutes of play, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Túlio Ladron made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caetano Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Luiz da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Caetano Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Túlio Ladron in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz da Cunha came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Allan da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. EngTULIO&Tupipano's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan da Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caetano Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 59 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Genílson de Queirós. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Túlio Ladron sped through Icoara Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caetano Monteiro. When the final whistle sounded EngTULIO&Tupipano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Icoara Football Club.
