AITEC's Oscar Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Brito in the 9th minute of play. Armandinho Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dadá Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didi Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Didi Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AITEC booed when Guayra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Diamantino Moraes hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. The supporters of Guayra FC booed when AITEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Donatello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 minutes, Hudson das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AITEC and the Guayra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Hudson das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dadá Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guayra FC reached it. Oscar Donatello made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Fabiano Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Richard Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Rodrigues in the 77th minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Oscar Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Donatello was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Fabiano Rodrigues capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabiano Rodrigues really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The supporters of AITEC booed when Guayra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position.
