The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of OSASCO FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chinho FC:s goal. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Chinho FC. Lenílson Munhoz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luciano de Carvalho. 0-1. João Pedro de Sena didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 13th minute. OSASCO FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! A collision led to Chinho FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rodriguinho Correia hit a great ball. When João Francisco Arce came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the OSASCO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Francisco Arce couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raúl Motta in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Neiva saved Chinho FC from getting behind. Luciano de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Fernandez in the 28th minute of play. Luís Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Raúl Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When João Carlos Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinho FC's protests and gave João Carlos Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65thth minute of the game João Pedro de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chinho FC's Jairo Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Raúl Motta made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Neiva. Chinho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
