C.A Gryffindor's Chico Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Cabezon in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Severo. C.A Gryffindor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Adolfo Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Cabezon in the 13th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Chico Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Batista came free, but Chico Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Loureiro. Osvaldinho Paraense's late challenge caught a Barcellos Mineiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldinho Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.A Gryffindor's Osvaldinho Paraense got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Gryffindor's zone, Rick Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Severo came out of the goal and Rick Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Rafa Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Batista came free, but Chico Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Rick Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Chico Severo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chico Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rick Cabezon in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Severo saved C.A Gryffindor from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Cabezon came free, but Chico Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Batista in the 37th minute of play. Chico Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Cabezon in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Jailson Batista made a precise shot to the right of Chico Severo. C.A Gryffindor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The C.A Gryffindor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barcellos Mineiro FC were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rick Cabezon made a kick off. Jailson Batista scored 0-5 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chico Severo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute of the match, Jailson Batista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chico Severo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chico Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Prestes in the 61st minute of the match. C.A Gryffindor's Chico Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Batista in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, C.A Gryffindor's Chico Severo got control of the ball when Rick Cabezon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rick Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Chico Severo made a huge save. C.A Gryffindor's Chico Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Batista in the 84th minute of play. When Rick Cabezon came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Barcellos Mineiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rick Cabezon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Mattos in the 93rd minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Chico Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Garcia hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Rick Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Severo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Barcellos Mineiro FC played a much better game than C.A Gryffindor and deserved their victory. The C.A Gryffindor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
