The referee ignored Gracie Barra's protests and gave Igor Pirani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Pirani to maneuver through the defense. Elder Lara hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Oscar Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Enio Guimarães got a free kick in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Geraldo Linares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopoldo Queirós. Geraldo Linares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Igor Pirani put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Oscar Pereira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Pirani in the 25th minute of play forced Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goalkeeper Oscar Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gracie Barra's Leopoldo Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Gracie Barra from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the game, Gracie Barra's Doni Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Pereira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Oscar Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Pirani in the 41st minute of the match. Gracie Barra's Leopoldo Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Queiroz in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Pirani came free, but Oscar Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Tiago Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Pirani to make the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Godoi came free, but Oscar Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Ramalho came free, but Oscar Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Oscar Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Chicão Donatello got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oscar Pereira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 80th match minute, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Linares to maneuver through the defense. Doni Ramalho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 83rd playminute. After a rather tough play, Gracie Barra's Gustavo Xavier got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gracie Barra's zone, Conrado Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Queirós came out of the goal and Conrado Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Doni Ramalho made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Pereira. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Oscar Pereira came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Gracie Barra's Doni Ramalho. But to his dismay, Doni Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gracie Barra had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
