Vinícius Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 12th minute, Geovânio da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With 18 minutes on the clock, Conrado da Mata commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Xapetuba Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Conrado da Mata hit a great ball. 20 minutes in the game Chicão Silva after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Dudu Oliveira. A very good opportunity. 22 minutes into the match, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Léo Britto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Carlos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basílio Mazza scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Carlos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Carlos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Mazza in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Basílio Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Dudu Oliveira came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leripe Lifestyle's Rubinho Nogueira. But to his dismay, Rubinho Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Vinícius Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Zé Carlos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Léo Britto in the 59th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Basílio Mazza lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Zé Carlos. After 74 played minutes Xapetuba Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Léo Britto. Clemente Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zé Carlos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio da Rocha in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leripe Lifestyle's Vinícius Romero got a free kick in the 85th minute. Vinícius Romero hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Léo Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Basílio Mazza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé Carlos. The goal made the score 1-4. The Leripe Lifestyle supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Xapetuba Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Xapetuba Futebol Clube.
