Geraldo Linares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but José Vítor de Sousa made a huge save. After 5 minutes Clube Atlético Impávido's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vânderson Teles who took care of the corner kick. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Vânderson Teles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but José Vítor de Sousa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Clube Atlético Impávido getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Naldo Dante hit a great ball. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Impávido's José Vítor de Sousa got control of the ball when Geraldo Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 minutes, Carlinhos Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Impávido and the Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Clube Atlético Impávido getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Carlinhos Moreira hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Josué Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geraldo Linares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Vítor de Sousa having to make a save. If Bernardinho Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dênis Loyola struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. José Vítor de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร. José Vítor de Sousa was a little too slow when Bernardinho Borges got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Dante in the 30th minute of play forced Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goalkeeper Oscar Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardinho Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor de Sousa having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Mário Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Vítor de Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 42nd minute, Mário Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geraldo Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. José Vítor de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Vítor de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Queiroz in the 72nd minute of the match. Geraldo Linares scored 6-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Vítor de Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
