Thanks to some nice moves Sydney Mazza could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Cláudio Soares however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares got control of the ball when Mazinho Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. REAL VASCO RIO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
