Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Deivid Prestes started the match with the kick off. Frederico Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thiago Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Damião in the 7th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Cearense came free, but Thiago Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Cearense in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Baltazar Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Mattos in the 22nd minute. Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Ceresso in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Jailson Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of Grêmio Prudente booed when Premier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deivid Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Soares having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Valdomiro Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Premier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deivid Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Mattos struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kaká Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio Prudente. Kaká Soares came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Prudente's Deivid Prestes. But to his dismay, Deivid Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Kaká Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mauro Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Deivid Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio Prudente's supporters rose to their feet, but Deivid Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaká Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Mauro Mattos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaká Soares was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After 78 minutes, Frederico Linares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio Prudente and the Premier FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Premier FC's Kaká Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Prestes in the 81st minute of play. Valdomiro Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Thiago Couto made a huge save. Kaká Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Thiago Couto made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Valdomiro Cearense sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Mattos in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaká Soares saved Premier FC from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Valdomiro Cearense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
