In the 45thth minute of the game Eurico Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Munique's Edgard Alvarenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgard Alvarenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eurico Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Cacá Simão fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfredinho Cordeiro, passed just outside the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
