Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Galvão started the match with the kick off. Laércio de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flávio Gomes during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Flávio Gomes got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Dé Salles had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 9 minutes into the game, Humberto Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cestarolli FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bastioes EC the free kick. Fernando Mandrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laércio de Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Hamílton Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bastioes EC and the Cestarolli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cestarolli FC's Luizão Hoffmann was substituted for Walmir Valle. After 14 played minutes Bastioes EC got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Silveira. After 18 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Queiroz. 20 minutes into the match, Bastioes EC's Edgar de Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laércio de Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Genílson Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bastioes EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Bastioes EC's Edgar de Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laércio de Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute Fernando Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Geovânio Aguiar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cestarolli FC's Laércio de Almeida did a great save. Laércio de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar de Lima's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bastioes EC booed when Cestarolli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Fernando Mandrak made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genílson Vasconcelos during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Bastioes EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Fernando Mandrak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bastioes EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edgar de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizão Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luizão Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laércio de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Fernando Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. If Luizão Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cestarolli FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Fernando Mandrak scored to the left of an out of position Laércio de Almeida, making the score, 0-2.
