Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) FC BARCELONA's Hélio Quirino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caio dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Quirino in the 4th minute of the match. Maverick Futebol Clube's Raimundo Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oséas Botelho hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Afonsinho de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, FC BARCELONA's Ademir Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Hélio Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Amaral came free, but Caio dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio dos Santos having to interfere. Caio dos Santos came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FC BARCELONA's Hélio Quirino. But to his dismay, Hélio Quirino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 24 minutes, Ademir Amaral made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Maverick Futebol Clube defense, Ademir Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio dos Santos. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio dos Santos should have stopped the shot. In the 36thth minute of the game Ademir Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Raimundo Abraão got a free kick in the 38th minute. After the first half FC BARCELONA were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Percival Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Quirino in the 53rd minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséas Botelho hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Roger Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, FC BARCELONA's Caio dos Santos threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hélio Quirino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th play minute Hélio Quirino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Caio dos Santos. 0-6. In the 63rd minute, Maverick Futebol Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Afonsinho de Godoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Roger Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maverick Futebol Clube's protests and gave Roger Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Roger Rossi got a free kick in the 64th minute. FC BARCELONA's Júnior Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Botelho in the 74th minute of play. After 79 played minutes, Maverick Futebol Clube's Ademar Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júnior Cardozo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maverick Futebol Clube reached it. In the 83rd minute Falcão Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Abraão in the 85th minute of play forced FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Júnior Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Raimundo Abraão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Júnior Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caio dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Quirino in the 96th minute of play.
