After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Fernando Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C.PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Amauri Romero in 19 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Celso Luz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amauri Romero in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tony Veiga hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Cipriano Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Francisco Neves hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalkeeper Haroldo Pitta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Amauri Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to S.C.PAULISTA getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Délio Furtado hit a great ball. Tony Veiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celso Luz. S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Enéas Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Luz. S.C.PAULISTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enéas Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Celso Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denílson Luz's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Amauri Romero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amauri Romero made a kick off. S.C.PAULISTA's Celso Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Romero in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, S.C.PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Fernandez came free, but Celso Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Amauri Romero lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Celso Luz. Amauri Romero hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes of play, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Amauri Romero made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Paulão Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cipriano Oliveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Haroldo Pitta. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Olívio Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C.PAULISTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sacode Football CIMZ the free kick. The supporters of S.C.PAULISTA booed when Club Sacode Football CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
