When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Severino de Azevedo sped through Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albertinho Vaz. 10 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severino de Azevedo came free, but Albertinho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Guga Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. . SC Manhattan .'s supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertinho Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Geraldo Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Geraldo Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Toledo. . SC Manhattan .'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geraldo Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino de Azevedo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertinho Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severino de Azevedos short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Albertinho Vaz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Roger Camargo hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Severino de Azevedo sped through Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albertinho Vaz. . Ernesto de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Vaz having to interfere. Severino de Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinei Félix hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severino de Azevedo came free, but Albertinho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
