Germania F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Perivaldo Coelho in the 8th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Hudson de Toledo to score against Laércio Eger in Pecém's goal. 0-1 after 9 minutes. After a rather tough play, Germania F.C.'s Silvinho Toscano got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Valdir Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murillo Valadares stood somewhat misplaced when Simão Valle came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 27 minute. The supporters of Germania F.C. booed when Pecém was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes, Nando Simão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pecém and the Germania F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Fernando Chaves to strike the kick off in the second half. Murillo Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there!
