The referee showed Fabrício Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to America Futebol Clube SP getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Zé Pedro de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Sergipano in the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Figueiredo came free, but Rodriguinho Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrão de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro de Queirós having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Queirós during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, America Futebol Clube SP's Francisco Queirós got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute, Belo Academy's Vágner Sergipano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Zé Pedro de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Vágner Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Pedro de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Pedrão de Brito struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Zé Pedro de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belo Academy. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilton Sanches made a kick off. America Futebol Clube SP's Nilton Sanches was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Jonas das Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. America Futebol Clube SP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belo Academy the free kick. In the 59th minute Vágner Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Pedro de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vágner Sergipano took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Pedro de Queirós. Zé Pedro de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Zé Pedro de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Gerber in the 72nd minute of play. Vágner Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Zé Pedro de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Rafael Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Pedro de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Passos in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Sergipano came free, but Zé Pedro de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Vágner Sergipano notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of America Futebol Clube SP's Zé Pedro de Queirós. Zé Pedro de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Belo Academy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
