Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Róbson Passos started the match with the kick off. Nilmar Furlans short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Vitório de Salles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Furlan came free, but Vitório de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitório de Salles made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Diamantino Gerber sent off a good shot on target. Rafa Tavares came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexilhão F. C.'s Alfredo Netto. But to his dismay, Alfredo Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With his leg Vitório de Salles managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Bayern Lessa - u21's Nilmar Furlan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Alfredo Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Leme struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Vitório de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayern Lessa - u21. In the 36th minute, Alfredo Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvaldo Zonta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vitório de Salles. Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vitório de Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesinha Breckenfeld's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Nilmar Furlan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Vitório de Salles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nilmar Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Vitório de Salles made a huge save. Mexilhão F. C.'s Vitório de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mexilhão F. C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bayern Lessa - u21's Diamantino Gerber got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Nilmar Furlan made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when Bayern Lessa - u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Macedo shot from long distance in the 53rd minute, but Rafa Tavares was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesinha Breckenfeld in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitório de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bayern Lessa - u21's Nilmar Furlan in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexilhão F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Nilmar Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitório de Salles was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Vitório de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Manoel Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bayern Lessa - u21's Cesinha Breckenfeld in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexilhão F.
