After 13 minutes, Wellington de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agro Imortal and the Minuim SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Agro Imortal's Wellington de Almeida got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to Agro Imortal getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Vitório Marques hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Gaspar in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Sousa saved Agro Imortal from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Dionísio to strike the kick off in the second half. Agro Imortal's Rui Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Hernani Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agro Imortal's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernani Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Durval Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durval Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 67 minutes into the game, one of Agro Imortal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arnaldo Sousa had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Lino de Toledo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Minuim SS booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Sousa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvério Cordeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 78 minute of play. In the 80th play minute Clemente Brodel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnaldo Sousa. 1-4. In the 84th minute, Roger Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Agro Imortal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. If Rui Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Dionísio came free, but Narciso Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Agro Imortal booed when Minuim SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Minuim SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
