The referee showed Cristian Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Urbano hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Gernando Quintal made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Fernando Baiano. Compostela FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 27th minute Gernando Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Compostela FSCMZ's zone, Gernando Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Baiano came out of the goal and Gernando Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Baiano made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Gernando Quintal sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Bastos to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fernando Baiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrinho Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Quintal came free, but Luiz Fernando Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Monumento Sports left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Compostela FSCMZ.
