Adelino de Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wágner Sousa's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dagoberto Souza during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER booed when F.Salgado F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Dagoberto Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Wágner Sousa sped through BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adelino de Andrade. 19 minutes into the match, Wágner Sousa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Adelino de Andrade. Adelino de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 22 played minutes F.Salgado F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Acácio França. Claudinho Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the F.Salgado F.C. defense, Luizinho Capixaba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Massa. The F.Salgado F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Massa should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Nicolas Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Adelino de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dagoberto Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adelino de Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Adelino de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The audience was convinced that Wágner Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino de Andrade was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Wágner Sousa made the kick off in the second half. Dagoberto Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino de Andrade having to interfere. Walmyr Furlan's late challenge caught a F.Salgado F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmyr Furlan helped the player get up and apologised. Walmyr Furlan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Adelino de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Wágner Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Adelino de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sandro Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.Salgado F.C.'s protests and gave Sandro Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Dagoberto Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adelino de Andrade. That made the score 3-3 in the 75 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Sousa in the 77th minute of play forced BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goalkeeper Adelino de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, F.Salgado F.C.'s Wágner Sousa made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adelino de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júnior Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Siqueira in the 85th minute of play. In the 95th minute Wágner Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The F.Salgado F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
