Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Murilo Mazza got the match started through his kick off. Naldo Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Monumento Sports booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Teles during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Alan Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gernando Quintal scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Naldo Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gernando Quintal might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Oliveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gernando Quintal ran back to his position shaking his head. Naldo Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Quintal in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Gernando Quintal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monumento Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Barrenta SC defense, Gernando Quintal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naldo Oliveira. The Barrenta SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naldo Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Naldo Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Quintal in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Barrenta SC's Umberto Trigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Renatinho Bertassi hit a great ball. Naldo Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gernando Quintal went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Gernando Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Gernando Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrenta SC's Naldo Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Lopes made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Quintal in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Oliveira saved Barrenta SC from getting behind. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Umberto Trigo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Quintal in the 65th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Naldo Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Koehler hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Barrenta SC's Naldo Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lopes in the 68th minute of play. The Monumento Sports fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Monumento Sports's Gernando Quintal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute, Joel Lopes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Moisés Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Quintal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gernando Quintal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Naldo Oliveira. That made the score 1-9 in the 86 minute of play. Joel Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Naldo Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Mathias Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Oliveira having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Monumento Sports walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
