With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bebeto de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Souza during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Souza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Alcântara in the 8th minute of play forced União Verde FC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Carlinhos de Medeiros was a little too slow when Ademir Guia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. 29 minutes in the game, Ademir Guia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carlinhos de Medeiros having to interfere. Walmyr Simões hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Facopo FBPA's Carlinhos de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Facopo FBPA from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the game, Facopo FBPA's Fabrício Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bebeto de Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Fabrício Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match.
