Hugo Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the game, Luizão Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC - Curitiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quandus the free kick. In the 11th minute, Luizão Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, AFC - Curitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Matías Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matías Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Válter Eger's late challenge caught a AFC - Curitiba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válter Eger helped the player get up and apologised. Válter Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Nelsinho Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jano Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano Proença might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jano Proença ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnaldo Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Freitas in the 27th minute of play. Lucas Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute of the match Jano Proença sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Tande skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Durvalino Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Tande was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 33rd match minute, AFC - Curitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruninho Freitas got free with Arnaldo Lopes in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 played minutes AFC - Curitiba got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Ferraz. After a defensive mix-up in AFC - Curitiba's zone, Bruninho Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Lopes came out of the goal and Bruninho Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Durvalino Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Tande was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Durvalino Linhares took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Tande. Hugo Tande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 47th minute Durvalino Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Jano Proença came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hugo Tande could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Freitas in the 59th minute of play forced AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Arnaldo Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Linhares in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Jano Proença notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Quandus's Hugo Tande. Hugo Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 78 in the game by Durvalino Linhares from a close distance when the talented Hugo Tande managed to make a qualified save. Quandus's players were relieved. In the 79th minute, Tiago Gabriel Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80thth minute of the game Durvalino Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quandus's Hugo Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. AFC - Curitiba's Arnaldo Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Freitas in the 92nd minute of play. The Quandus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AFC - Curitiba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
