Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonardo de Queirós kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson De la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo de Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Xavi Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Andrade in the 16th minute of play. When Humberto Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's protests and gave Humberto Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. Humberto Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga booed when Red Dragon FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Nestor Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Humberto Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavi Čech having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nestor Galvão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavi Čech was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 36th minute of the match Clube Atl. Taquaritinga got a corner. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fiori Guimarães ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Fiori Guimarães to fire away a dangerous shot which Xavi Čech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gugu Marinho hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Xavi Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Andrade in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Yuri Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Galvão took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavi Čech. Xavi Čech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Galvão was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Nestor Galvão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavi Čech. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Galvão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Xavi Čech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Galvão went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Nestor Galvão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavi Čech was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Xavi Čech came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Nestor Galvão. But to his dismay, Nestor Galvão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 72 minutes into the match, Leonardo de Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Ferreira. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo de Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. 75 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Antônio Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo de Queirós. Vânderson De la Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vânderson De la Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Xavi Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Coelho in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Vânderson De la Cruz made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xavi Čech was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute Délio Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavi Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
