Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorge Gaspar made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Green Squad FC's Hernani Pirani got control of the ball when Caetano Travassos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Caetano Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joinville United - FSCMZ's João Pedro Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias de Alcântara in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Green Squad FC's zone, Fred de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Pirani came out of the goal and Fred de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 played minutes Joinville United - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fred de Queirós. With a little luck, Green Squad FC's Hernani Pirani got control of the ball when Fred de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias de Alcântara came free, but João Pedro Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Rodrigues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Joinville United - FSCMZ defense, Jorge Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Pedro Rodrigues. The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Pedro Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. Hernani Pirani made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Serafim Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gilmar Carneiro hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Oséias de Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but João Pedro Rodrigues made a huge save. Hernani Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred de Queirós in the 66th minute of play. Hernani Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Paraíba in the 75th minute of the match. Hernani Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Silvinho de Moraes got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 88 minutes of play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Serafim Paraíba made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernani Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute Caetano Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Caetano Travassos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernani Pirani was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Joinville United - FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
