Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Vista Alegre FC's Osvaldo Negri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Kiko Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braga Junior FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vista Alegre FC the free kick. The supporters of Vista Alegre FC booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Kiko Neves made a precise shot to the right of Décio Neto. Vista Alegre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match Artur Azevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Décio Neto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Braga Junior FC's Fernandinho Veiga got a free kick in the 15th minute. A collision led to Vista Alegre FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dráuzio de Alcântara hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Braga Junior FC's Fernandinho Veiga tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Veiga. Artur Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Vander in the 31st minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Edgar Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruninho Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Antônio Carlos Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vista Alegre FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

If Kiko Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Edgar do Valle fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Braga Junior FC's protests and gave Edgar do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar do Valle. In the 60th minute Ediberto Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Bittencourt. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Décio Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antônio Carlos Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Edgar Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Neves in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute, Augusto Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Vander in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Braga Junior FC's Edgar do Valle got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Fernandinho Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernandinho Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Vista Alegre FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Braga Junior FC.
