Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Caco Rossi started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Tepedino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kléber Donato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aírton Paraibano's late challenge caught a Montesclarense E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aírton Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when ViraLataCaramelo U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Caco Rossi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kléber Donato. Iuri Vidal's late challenge caught a Montesclarense E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iuri Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ViraLataCaramelo U18 getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Iuri Vidal hit a great ball. Caco Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kléber Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caco Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. Kléber Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kléber Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Montesclarense E.C.'s Dráuzio Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dráuzio Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kléber Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Chiquinho de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesclarense E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho de Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 54th minute, Olavo Loyola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ViraLataCaramelo U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. 57 minutes into the match, ViraLataCaramelo U18's goalkeeper Kléber Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Cavalcante. ViraLataCaramelo U18's Kléber Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Rossi in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind ViraLataCaramelo U18's goalkeeper Kléber Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute Aírton Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Tepedino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléber Donato. ViraLataCaramelo U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dráuzio Tepedino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. 76 minutes into the game, André Luiz Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ViraLataCaramelo U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montesclarense E.C. the free kick. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sandro dos Santos hit a great ball. Dráuzio Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Tepedino. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltazar Dantas during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baltazar Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Tepedino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kléber Donato. Dráuzio Tepedino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7.
