Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Rocha started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Miau Stars getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Mello hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes Miau Stars got a freekick which was hit by Mina Felina. In the 8th minute, Alex Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mina Felina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseu Negri. New Loser FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Percival de Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cássio Britto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Figueiredo in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Miau Stars's Hugo Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Diniz in the 25th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Percival de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miau Stars's Mina Felina got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Mina Felina off the ground. In the 35th minute, Anísio Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Carioca in the 38th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Hugo Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Akira Beatrix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miau Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Loser FC the free kick. Sandrinho Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Percival de Queirós made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgílio Diniz was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percival de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Azevedo. If Anísio Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Virgílio Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Percival de Queirós. Miau Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgílio Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Figueiredo in the 69th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Antônio Carlos Mello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, Miau Stars's Antônio Carlos Mello got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Virgílio Diniz notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Miau Stars's Percival de Queirós. Percival de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Azevedo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio Pontes got free with Eliseu Negri in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Reinaldo Vargas got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Guimarães. For all the effort they put into the match, the Miau Stars players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for New Loser FC.
