Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ediberto Abraão put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luisinho Souza. With a little luck, Vista Alegre FC's Décio Neto got control of the ball when Geraldo Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 8 played minutes Flora got a freekick which was hit by Mané da Cunha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Negri in the 9th minute of play forced Flora's goalkeeper Luisinho Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geraldo Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Décio Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiliam Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiliam Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flora's goalkeeper Luisinho Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vista Alegre FC's zone, Marcus Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Neto came out of the goal and Marcus Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisinho Souza. Flora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Hortêncio Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Souza having to interfere. Flora's Luisinho Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Negri in the 25th minute of play. Luisinho Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Negri in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Senna notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Flora's Luisinho Souza. Luisinho Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wiliam Bittencourt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Décio Neto. Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Décio Neto made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dé Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Décio Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Coutinho. After 43 minutes of play, Vista Alegre FC's Ediberto Abraão made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisinho Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Vista Alegre FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Negri was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ediberto Abraão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luisinho Souza. That made the score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Negri in the 56th minute of play forced Flora's goalkeeper Luisinho Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisinho Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hortêncio Senna went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Luisinho Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Negri in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus Marques during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Marcus Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, Vista Alegre FC's Hortêncio Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisinho Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Luisinho Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Dracena. 79 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Barreto came free, but Décio Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Ediberto Abraão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisinho Souza. The goal made the score 0-8. After a rather tough play, Flora's Wiliam Bittencourt got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Jonathan Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Vista Alegre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Trigo couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Ediberto Abraão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisinho Souza. The goal made the score 0-9. Dé Coutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Décio Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Vista Alegre FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
