The Antropofagia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeferson Fantini should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Ademar Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeferson Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Jeferson Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeferson Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Pombal in the 27th minute of the match. When Sydney Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Gala's protests and gave Sydney Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Antropofagia FC booed when Inter Gala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Ricardinho de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeferson Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 40th minute, Tales Alvarenga made a precise shot to the right of Jeferson Fantini. Antropofagia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Tony Leite scored 0-6 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeferson Fantini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
