Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Délio Donatello started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Antropofagia FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Albuquerque. After 5 minutes of play, Internacional's Dráusio de Moraes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeferson Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute, Dráusio Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeferson Fantini came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional's José Faria. But to his dismay, José Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Palmeira in the 16th minute of play forced Internacional's goalkeeper Ruy Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, José Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeferson Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 22nd minute Délio Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Antropofagia FC's goalkeeper Jeferson Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Faria. A collision led to Antropofagia FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Délio Donatello hit a great ball. Jeferson Fantini made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Genílson Valle sent off a good shot on target. After 28 played minutes Antropofagia FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Porto. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Jeferson Fantini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeferson Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Quintal in the 35th minute of play. Antropofagia FC's Jeferson Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Antropofagia FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, José Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internacional's supporters rose to their feet, but José Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeferson Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio de Queiroz in the 40th minute of play forced Antropofagia FC's goalkeeper Jeferson Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Internacional's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Brodel came free, but Ruy Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Faria to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Internacional's Genílson Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeferson Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ruy Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ruy Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Délio Donatello in the 62nd minute. Jeferson Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, José Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeferson Fantini. Antropofagia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Internacional's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Alan Brodel scored to the left of an out of position Ruy Correia, making the score, 5-1. Jeferson Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Faria in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeferson Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Internacional's Eurico Rocha got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Arlindo Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antropofagia FC's protests and gave Arlindo Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Antropofagia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Internacional's Jerônimo da Mata got a free kick in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Antropofagia FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Faria came free, but Jeferson Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerônimo da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Antropofagia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Internacional's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Arlindo Palmeira scored to the left of an out of position Ruy Correia, making the score, 5-2. Internacional's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
