In the 15th minute Sávio Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Olívio Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sávio Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sávio Campos in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olívio Abraão saved Inter Gala from getting behind. Olívio Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sávio Campos in the 38th minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Rafinha Cabral made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Inter Gala's Olívio Abraão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olívio Abraão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafinha Cabral went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sávio Campos to make the kick off. With a little luck, Inter Gala's Olívio Abraão got control of the ball when Sávio Campos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Nilson Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Abraão. Inter Gala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilson Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Sávio Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Olívio Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Inter Gala booed when Florestal Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Florestal Futebol Clube's Olívio Abraão threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sávio Campos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Olívio Abraão managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Florestal Futebol Clube's Rafinha Cabral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sávio Campos in the 90th minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Olívio Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Inter Gala defense, Rafinha Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olívio Abraão. The Inter Gala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olívio Abraão should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Florestal Futebol Clube's Sávio Campos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho de Souza in the 95th minute of play forced Florestal Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Denílson Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olívio Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sávio Campos in the 98th minute of play. The Inter Gala supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Florestal Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Florestal Futebol Clube.
