In the 6th minute, Alfredão Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antropofagia FC's Jeferson Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Dracena in the 11th minute of play. Jeferson Fantini came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by OxentePaisa Salcity's Luiz Fabiano Dracena. But to his dismay, Luiz Fabiano Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jeferson Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nico Munhoz during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Antropofagia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Jeferson Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fabiano Dracena went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. With a little luck, OxentePaisa Salcity's Johan Redbone got control of the ball when Nico Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Luiz Fabiano Dracena sped through Antropofagia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeferson Fantini. Alex Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 28 minutes of play Antropofagia FC's Nico Munhoz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After having played for 30 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OxentePaisa Salcity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiano Dracena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeferson Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Dracena in the 35th minute of play. In the 44th minute Luiz Fabiano Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Antropofagia FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jeferson Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antropofagia FC's Jeferson Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Antropofagia FC from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fabiano Dracena struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jeferson Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OxentePaisa Salcity. Luiz Fabiano Dracena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jeferson Fantini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Luiz Fabiano Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. OxentePaisa Salcity's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fabiano Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Jeferson Fantini made a huge save.
